Default Walbro 450lph modifying canister Help!

I'm planning to take my PT to heights that have never been reached before, over 600 horsepower, and I need the fuel system to take it there. I have with me a Walbro 450 lph pump, deutchworks 750cc injectors, and a PT GT canister and I need some help figuring out where I should route all the hoses. wiring seems straightforward, just connect the right wires. Before anyone says anything about power handling I am going to have DCR axles for the T850 which has the same spline count and diameter as the getrag, and I am also getting a stage 3 South Bend clutch. I don't really care about traction, its fun to roast tires anyway.

I ended up cutting a lot of the excess plastic that holds the stock fuel pump to make the walbro 450 fit. It in in the canister, and still uses the factory wiring and hoses. I did swap the hose going from the pump to the body to a braided steel covered hose. If I ever want to go back to the factory pump I can fairly easily. I tested it using a 12 volt drill battery and it ended up working fine, so I think I found the easiest way to install a large fuel pump in the stock canister with hardly any modification. Now I just need feedback. Do you guys think it will work fine?

It may work fine.
What I would have done is keep the stock fuel pump and use an external 450 and a surge tank up front.
The budget for a 600+ hp set up should include a fuel system to support it

Realistically speaking anyone attempting to build a PT Cruiser with more then 300HP should have a stand alone Fuel system.

I will spend the money for sure, but i have no idea how to create an external fuel pump, and I bought a 450 from a friend. I want to use it in my system. Any pics of an external fuel setup?

I was thinking that the 450 alone should be enough for the power I知 planning on going for. I知 also not quite sure what size injectors would be a good pair with the pump. I currently have 750cc injectors. Mainly what I知 asking is how much fuel would I need to support what I知 going for and how can I achieve it?

The problem is not roasting the wheels. It's getting them not to hop. I already have new mounts with the hard urethane inserts and there is still wheel hop. The wheel hop is going to shatter the axles if done enough. I think you have a great ambition, but it would be wise at your age to put this money from the project into going to a mechanical engineering program. That would pay off long term, then with your increased income and knowledge you could really do a proper job.

I have solid motor mounts and bc coilovers so I hardly get any wheel hop, and I just need a better clutch and some dcr axles and I値l be fine. Besides I知 not taking it to the strip every day I just want a really powerful daily. I知 not really looking for 600 hp I知 more looking into a doable 450-500 range.

I kinda realize now that 600 hp is gonna be real expensive, and I知 sure I値l be happy with 500 to the wheels.
