Default air box cover

what is the white thing inside the air box[:I] cover can i remove it for more sound and perfomance[8)]

In a word...yes! It's just a silencer, no ill effects will occur.

YES! And my next mod would be a airbox-to-turbo pipe. That factory connection has a big choke in it to silence the turbo. I WANT to hear that whine when I punch it! Let that sucker breath!

AMX turbo up pipe offers better acceleration at WOT, no question.

very nice roar at wot.
so what if i don't pick the coolest air,
that's why there's an intercooler!

when you remove your air filter,in the iar box
you can see the big black tube.it goes thru the wall
of the airbox and connect to the fender liner.
t'is as easy to remove as the white one.
