I recently installed filled motor and tranny mounts on my PT GT 5-speed and no longer have any wheel hop. Many of you have probably noticed a severe traction problem when aggressively taking off from a dead stop, i.e., "burning out". The front wheels bounce around making loud noises and you can't get traction. Now I can dump the clutch in first gear at 3,000 rpm and get excellent traction without any wheel hop. It's great. The only downside I notice is some engine/drivetrain vibration that you can feel in the wheel and seat. You can also hear more mechanical sounds from the engine and drivetrain which for me is a positive thing. Others might not like it. Not severe, but noticeable. Well worth it in my opinion. I purchased them from www.JLMmotorsports.com. Ask for Jason. They cost about $230 for all three (top and bottom motor mounts and tranny mount).
The guys on the SRT4 forum have done this mod along time ago but those guys are fanatics compared to us when it comes to performance mods. ![]() ![]()

Are these just filled or do they replace the bushings with some urethane bushings?

These motor mounts are factory models modified with a special filling compound. I liked that idea because then I know they'll fit right and there isn't any inserts to loosen up. Another benefit is that you can keep your old mounts and reinstall them just in case you change your mind.
