The BTG is straight through and the Borla "Octy pipes" are not. You decide! If your worried about pipe size then make sure you measure all the pipes on the borla, toothpicks after the "reverse flow style Muffler". I think you would be very happy with the btg duals. IMLHO the borla is a joke, but that is just "my" lowly honest opinion.
Check out the heartthrob system, 2 1/2 straight through Duals or single and cheap $$, it's an option? As far as I am concerned the best down pipe made is the one ATP makes for the SRT-4, awesome piece. Installs the same you just need to fit it to the exhaust, which is very easy to do. If they would ever post it on their web site, Trubendz is supposed to have a 3"DP for the cruiser and a NEW 2 1/2 Cat back exhuast to mate up with it. BTG is also making a DP for the cruiser and.... Can't say. My advice would be to wait and see what comes out, if I can do it you can! It is killing me though! [:0] |

This debate could go on and on. Bottom line is, replace the dorky. sissy, cheezy looking factory exhaust ESPECIALLY if you have a GT. Single or dual but replace it with a 'free flow, less restricted, better sounding' system.

Man you just don't get it do you. All of your spouting of theories, heard about, etc aren't worth a darn until you start producing some verifiable results on a dyno. Borla does this in their developement. Mopar agrees and recommends a 2.5" system. Real performance shops will acutally go larger but BTG sticks to their guns, again without any verification, and say the best is a 2.25 which they initiall developed for a 160hp NA engine is the best for a 220HP engine. Sounds like a case of not wanting to invest in any more R&D. I have nothing against BTG other than they take a stoic stance that flies in the face of all available data re: exhaust sizing and don't bother to support it. You can put a 2.25 system on but most authoritative opinions agree that you are really maxxing out the system on a turbo. You made your choice, I made mine.
I would also appreciate it if in the future you would refrain from personal attacks. It adds nothing to the debate and frankly makes you appear childish.
