Hi All - Anybody know of a good air injection for the Turbo. Had a K&N in my Black 01 5 Speed and loved the performance and the sound. Why arn't there any available for the Turbo yet. I asked K&N if they were planning to develop a unit for the Turbo but haven't gotten a response yet.

GT Inferno Red - Loaded AutoStik (Fun)
PT Tuning and Airaid are working on one, probably a couple of months away. Moss Motors has an Air Max but it is $340 w/o shipping. That's a rip off.

I asked my dealership about the warranty issue if I decided to remove the silencer. The reply was that it would not void the warranty. HOWEVER, if any modifications are made to factory set up, and a problem occurs down the road that can be linked to that modification, then the warranty would not cover repairs (this would be the rationale for making a note on the service slip).

So, I suspect that it will ultimately come down to the customer orientation of the dealer as to whether you might someday have to "prove" that your modification did not directly impact the air flow sensor, ECU, etc..

From what Ive been told, the GT does not have MAS (Mass airflow sensor) so you dont have to worry about that.

I should have my new HKS BOV by next week sometime, I cant wait.

You don't have to worry about this but you will learn that boost is addicting. Once you do a few little things and feel the difference it makes you want more. But, if you CAN resist the DARK SIDE you don't have to do any mods...bwahahaha!

Inferno Red GT, chrome wheels, chrome AMP fuel door, chrome side spears, PT Cruiser 3rd light diffuser, silencers removed from airbox...ain't this car fun?!?!?

Hello from Japan,
I've been traveling through South East Asia for the past few weeks when I found a "FREE INTERNET" terminal at the airport. I serving a 5 hour lay over so I thought I would drop in and see whats been going on at the forum.
Must say I really miss driving me ole PT/GT Cruiser. Can't wait to get back and drive around some sane traffic. If you think rush our is bad where you are you have'nt seen nothing. I kept my eye out for a PT around Tokyo and Shanghi, but not one glance, lot of mini utility type vehicles though. In my opinion the PT would sell like hot cakes if DC ever figured out how to import the PT to Asian countries.

Hey gtcamster,
Thanks for the radio shack tip, actually I got a temp guage at target to 12 bucks it only has one sensor though.

SARS, SARS, SARS

Never wore a sugical mask during my travels and never will, besides SARS is just one of those things the media clings on to to boost their ratings. What ever happened to Influenza, West Nile, Killer Bees... still around, you just are'nt bombarded with it in the news. Sure there is a lot of things that will kill you, but if you allow yourself to live in fear than life becomes just another jail sentence. This histeria just puts another nail in the economic coffin.
To tell you the truth I feel as healthy as I ever been, no cough, no fever, no flu and don't worry about me being a SARS superspreader or something, I have voluntarily quaritined myself for the past five days to relaxing at home and driving my PT/GT Cruiser around town. No contact with people, sick leave from work, been the best vacation I ever had. The dog, me and my wife plan on cruising to a nice secluded beach tommarow. Only five more days of this to go.
