I had the BTG exhaust and it was not loud at all and I felt the turbo spooled a little quicker and seemed to pull all the way to redline?

It all depends on your definition of loud? [:I]

The only reason I took it off was that I could never get the muffler tip to center properly in the cut out and that drove me nuts! I tried 2 mufflers with the same result, off to the right when looking at it from the rear. I could have modified it and to some extent did, but I did not feel that I should pay 200+ for something that did not fit right right out of the box! I am probably going to get the trubendz cat back system and a ATP SRT-4 DP and fab it to fit. Saving $$$$ [8]
Or you could just buy from this guy: www.maxxfab.com
Sorry to say, but, his DP looks like Dr. Frankenstein put it together.
You can not beat the quality or the functionality of the ATP piece. With the v- clamps you can swap the CAT out and a test pipe in in a few minutes. Also, if the CAT fails you do not have to buy the entire DP or cut and hack a new one in to replace it, all you need are new flanges and a CAT or you could buy a new one from ATP. IMHO, in the long run it is a much better deal than any of the DP available for the PT GT even the Trubendz. I just do not like the quality of the other pieces available, however, the trubendz definitely looks better than the Max fab piece.
Gary that tip looked great and as far as I am concerned it is my car and if the wife does not like it then she does not have to ride in it.
Just my personal opinion.

Does ATP make one for the PT now? As far as I have heard it is SRT only and it doesn't translate to the PT without "frankenstein-ing" it. I don't think most PT owners are going to be swapping out test pipes either. Some might, but honestly it doesn't do that much as opposed to a high flo cat.

Have you had a bac experience with the maxxfab piece? If looks like a pretty good piece to me. All stainless, nice welds, decent price etc. Please share. I haven't seen one in person.

Nono. You see, he'd rather frankstein it up than have Maxfab do it.

I specifically stated it was for the SRT-4 and if adding 6" of straight tubing is "frankenstein-ing" it up then so be it. From what I have seen the Max fab piece is not even mandrel bent (pics on here and P T C r e w) and "I" do not like the looks of the welds. His web site shows a different piece (that one even has multiple reducers right before the bend and not a smooth transition) than what I have seen installed, what is up with that? I do not want to order it and get the fugly one! The ATP piece is more versatile, higher quality and only $69 more. The Truebenz is only 19.00 less than the ATP? I like the trubendz but their prices are VERY high, but I think they offer the best 2.5" and only 3" Cat back system, besides the 4" ricer tip [:0]. I really do not want to slam Max Fab as he stepped up to the plate first and I am sure his works great, but, from what I have seen on the forums I am not impressed and that is just "my" personal opinion.
We are way off the original topic (sorry) so this will be my last post on this subject on this thread.
