PurplePT- real nice! As I mentioned in the above message, they just have not tried the system on a lowered PT. I trying to find out if they are going to lower their PT as a tester. Are you happy with your new system? How is the sound? Performance changes? You mentioned your ride suffered with the coilovers? Just when you went too low or all the time?

ESP101- Where did you see and hear the ATR system? Did you drive it as well? Was the car (PT) lowered? Thanks for the feedback.

I have heard their system for the SRT and I dont have any complaints. It is louder than Mopar/Borla, but does put out an intimidating sound. Again, as far as the SRTs, it seems to be a good exhaust. It is cheaper than most but still has the same features (full 3", SS, cat/no cat, etc...). when I get my exhaust for the SRT, thats probably what I will get. Id think about it for the Cruiser, but we already have the Mopar/Borla one.

I'm very happy with the Mopar/Borla exhaust. It has a strong throaty tone, with a nice raspy gurgle when decelerating. I can't say I noticed much of a performance improvement though. Regarding my coilovers, I mentioned in my last comment that the handling suffered when I went too low. That was when I lowered the front too much which causes the suspension components to have inefficient angles thus reducing effective travel. The car corners very well.

Ill agree to that also. I like the deeper sound, but IMO. it kind of sounds like a truck [:I]. At the track we bascially saw no improvements on our runs after the exhaust install. With the addition of a 3" downpipe (like Maxxfabs) I think the gains we be more apparent. Of course, our Cruiser is running pretty rich and we havent gotten a way to tune it yet so there defenatley power to extract there as well.

I have the 2.5 mopar exhaust but may go to 3: soon as Tommy has 3" all the way and loves it. I did go from 14.65 to 14.45 before S1 when I addeded the exhaust.two tenths for $400.00 is about right.

You did 14.45 before S1 [:I] With the mods you have listed? Interesting...
Nice times either way [?]

yes 14.45 with 18 lbs boost and 21" tall tires, not slicks, and that = a 4.37 final drive, as we use to say rear end.

Thanks for all the information guys and gals. I just heard about True bends exhausts and I'm looking into their systems. Looks pretty good so far.

14.45, I think that is the quickest time I have seen on the forum so far. I have not read every entry so don't hold me accountable to that statement. As far as the topics I have read...it is the best. Great on you!
