I went to Advance auto parts. They have a 20 inch long battery cable thats used on lawn tractors. It works great. No drilling. I used an existing bolt on the side of the engine block right next to the upper charge pipe. The bolt holds a small bracket in place. Then the other end fits perfectly to the negative battery terminal.

If you guys want some pics let me know.

You almost have it right. Buy good wire and go "UP" in size.

This mod is more of a hype. The first car that this mod was done on was the wrx. They have poor factory ground points from the factory. HKS came out with the circle of earth grounding kit. Now everyone tries to push this concept on every other car to make a buck.

If you want to utilize this on your car, just go buy some negative batter cables and ground it to the block and to the negative battery terminal.

[xx(]Well that's what the first post stated! You don't have to spend alot of money and in most cases you already have what you need in the garage. If you didn't notice a positive change then your ground was adequate, if your idle and acceleration was better the ground was not so good.Bottom line, it's a cheap, fast fix or test.

Yeah if you have an old beat in the back of the house, take the cable and try it out. As for idle, lower that gap to .040 and fogetboutit.

HKS circle of earth is $120.

I checked out PTDIY over 6 months ago, then recently to see if there were any changes for the good. They don't date because they don't want you to know how old the info is.There was a new face, but the same old info to reference. You can tell a forum is on the way out by how many people respond to it daily. The SRT forums are kicking butt! They have nearly 2 pages daily of new responses and questions. They have very knowledgeable people helping others who have questions, and thats what Eddie and I feel should be done here, not someone trying to make a buck. You would have better luck buying the Haynes PT shop manual (which is probably more up to date) than subscribe to PTDIY.People like you can stay "you know where",if you can't be helpful and honest then who needs ya.I think people in this forum now know where you are coming from.
