Finding a K&N at the store....?

I have been both to Kragen and Auto Zone trying to find one. They look at me like I am from outer space. It's not that I mind ordering online but I like the instant gratification of buying something and going home and putting it on. What is wrong with these places? K&N is pretty much a part of the automobile lexicon now. You would think they would stock them.

Inferno Red GT, chrome wheels, chrome AMP fuel door, chrome side spears, PT Cruiser 3rd light diffuser...ain't this car fun?!?!?

I've been to two NAPA's and three Advance Auto's and they don't have them, but they have other sizes of K&N air AND oil filters. They will order the 33-2153 for me for $34.

Check out Summit Racing. They carry about all of it. I got a Dynomax muffler from them and still saved money after shipping.

Summit is the way to go if you cannot get it locally.
I ordered mine on a Tuesday and got it on Friday. Try to call instead of going online. My previous experience with online ordering it takes longer by two days. My best guess is that they give priority to phone calls over online orders.

I went to 2 Pep Boys, 4 Auto Zones and 1 Advanced Auto and none of them had one. Ended up ordering 1 from PT-Tunning for $29.95 along with other goodies!!!!! Good thing you only have to buy it once.

Looking for Info.

I have been trying to buy a AirAid drop in filter replacement for my GT and nobody has the PN. Having the same problem with K&N. It seems the Turbo & non-turbo have diff PN's ? Some say same PN other say Diff most Say don't know. Does any body know for sure?

Got my K & N Filter online @ AJUSA.com. $30.40 Free Shipping. Took about 7 or 8 days to get. Part Number: KN 33-2153. Fits: 2001 CHRYSLER PT Cruiser 2.4L L4 F/I. Hope this helps.
