I notice the posts on this topic are a little old but I thought I'd add my 2 cents about my recent Hyperground install.
Purchased the kit and performed an install on my 2003 GT because I've been having heavy duty come and go flickering light (interior and exterior) issues. Install wasn't too bad. I followed Sun's recommendations, from negative battery terminal, one cable to driver's side fender ground, one cable from negative terminal to cylinder head, at cylinder head two cables - one to transmission ground and the other to the intake manifold and finally the last cable from the intake manifold to one of the black strut bolts on the passenger side. Lights still flicker and flicker plenty, no rhyme or reason to when or where they will flicker. I will admit that the car does seem to have a smoother possibly more powerful run up to the redline when stomping on the accelerator. If anyone has any opinions on my "following Sun's install directions" I'd love to hear them. And any advice on my light flickering problem would also be appreciated. This is really a great car expect for this electrical issue. |

I also purchased a hyperground kit from Sport Compact Only. I paid 57 something with shipping. I have a 03 GT Turbo, with the same flickering light problem. They have two wiring diagrams. Negative terminal to the chassis. Negative terminal to the cylinder head, daisy chain to the cylinder block. Daisy chain from cylinder head to the intake manifold then to chassis, the passenger shock tower. 2nd diagram. Negative terminal to chassis, negative terminal to cylinder head, daisy chain to intake manifold, daisy chain to alternator also daisy chain from intake manifold to chassis, the passenger shock tower.4 gauge cables, OFC {oxygen free copper} cables with 1,862 strands. |

Try also replacing the factory ground strap on the passenger side which goes from the back of the engine to the bracket for the motor mount.

we have a 2006 GT, which has no (at this point) electrical problems, although when we added the Magnaflow cat-back dual exhaust, the idle started bouncing around, but this does not
bother me. my questions, did Chrusler impove the electrics for the 2006? and do you think we should consider the conversion now, or after we start to notice problems. thanks for advice. Tom & Marj |

Lets see...TV claims of Slick 50...Dura Lube...Split fire spark Plugs...Tornado...Dyno Max...What do they all have in common...They all made claims of this and that on tv with INDEPENDANT TESTS and quess what....They all had to pay large fines to the Goverment for false claims....Of couse it took a few years for the Goverment to do that and many thousands of people were suckered into buying them....Peole can make any calims they want to and back them up with false data....
