Went nice and easy. The tip was crazy long...and was compounded by the fact that I have a rollpan too. Dad and I cut off about 2.5 inches off the tip and rewelded the tip back on. I painted the muffler and 2 hours later it was installed.
LOVE the tone. Not ricey...just deeper. Boost gauge peaks 16psi and drops to 10...but I havent seen 16psi since I had my boost controller on. Hauled ass on the highway later that night...its so nice to have top end. [8)] $150 well spent. ![]() |

Which exhaust did you go with?

Are you using an aftermarket down-pipe with that system? I think I remember you mentioned something about that before.

Cool that you can work on your car with your Dad. Nice job. Glad you like your new exhaust. You saved enough on the cat back part to afford the cat forward Maxxfab downpipe! That's where I noticed a difference. It's hard to measure performance gains on the street, but when I added the 3" Cat to the Mopar cat back I already had, I noticed a real and significant jump in gas mileage and a louder exhaust note. Both of those add up to reduced backpressure to my way of thinking.
