I had pretty much the same idea, except mine used abs tubing instead of metal tubing. Abs is the black plastic tubing, not pvc.It would look stock as the stock one is black plastic. Plus, abs is pretty cheap. One of these could probably be made for about $20-$30.

Thats cool man. Im going to be getting rid of mine here pretty soon. Time to start looking for another project car. Anyway, good luck on the intake.

Sory to be redundant, do you guys actually leave both holes in the airbox just open to the engine heat without further ducting? if not , what is the ducting method of choice? have looked for the modding the gt thread but can't find it. thanks for your help
