Turbo Timer Installed

Finaly got around to installing a TT on the GT Cruiser. Its almost the same as the SRT-4. Im currently making detail instructions for the install. SHould take about 30min-1hr to install.

For those who dont know what a TT is; Its used to help prolong the turbos life. After running yoru car hard or after long highway drives. YOu need to let your turbo cool down for 30sec up to 3min so the turbo bearings don't choke up.

I like the Dual TT with the boost display better though,
Well worth the extra $50 to me.

Yeah you guys can order it on my site and let me know that its for the cruiser so I can send you the correct instructions.

The blitz unit is great. Your going to have to run a vaccum line though to the engine compartment though. The srt is easy, all you have to do is tap into the vaccum line that coems in for the stock boost gauge.

Exhaust Depot, how idiot proof are the instructions? I haven't a clue about this turbo and am scared to death to so anything! I have the silcencer removel thread printed out and just sitting there....

Is it necessary to cut any wires, or is this 'plug-n-play' with OEM style connectors?

Unfortunatly its not plug and play. You have to use splice taps that I supply to connect it to your system. They only have a harness for the japanese cars which go for about $20. The one for our car will be alot more being that there are 10 wires instead of 5 like on the jap turbo cars.

I supply clear instructions for the install. If you have hooked up trailer lights , a radio or something to this nature, then you should have no problems installing it.


This will not damage your turbo or anythin glike that; this is not a power mod. It prolongs the life of your turbo by allowing the car to run while the car is closed and locked. After a few seconds or minutes, the car will shut off on its own.
