Default Another PERFORMANCE MOD...

for my Seamist Green CruzN Machine was installed this past week--BTG polished aluminum GT strut tower brace.

With 12K+ miles on the car, my "STAGE 1 performance package enhancements" have almost been completed. This well-made, high-quality, and sharp-looking strut brace appears to eliminate “steering torque” at WOT and tightens things up in the front-end improving cornering and overall handling. Later on, about 20-30K miles, I'll replace the stock tires and ignition wires with after-market high-performance stuff. However, until then, I'll just enjoy driving one great automobile!

Very nice Gary.....but c'mon! Your last performance mod??? Like I said in my response to your private email, those Magnecor wires and regapped plugs will make a noticeable difference. So I know you've got at least one more performance mod coming!!

I just knew there would be "some reaction" to my choice of words. [B)] However, don't you all read the fine print: "...Later on, about 20-30K miles, I'll replace the stock tires and ignition wires with after-market high-performance stuff..."

But, okay, so everyone will be happy I'll consider getting a few more MODS! [^] [8]

OK, so maybe PTurbed and I shouldn't have picked on you for the "final" comment, but rather for contradicting yourself in your own post. That just isn't like you Gary - you're normally very concise and to the point (albeit with a lot of color and emoticons!).

Are you sure there was a contradiction??? [:I] As I see it, both ignition wires and tires NEED to be replaced because they wear out with use/time and one has no choice but to replace them. Therefore, the replacements--be they stock of after-market performance parts--should NOT BE CONSIDERED MODS! [|)]

Ah, but unless you replace regular wear parts with stock items or factory original spec parts I believe you will, in fact, be modding your car [)]
