187hp / 238tq not bad for an auto. i was very happy with the numbers. next time i might try more boost. boost was around 10psi.

this was measured at the wheels, not the crank. that explains the lower number. there is usually a 15% drivetrain loss in power to the wheels. even more on auto's. so it does add up. hth

I saw another dyno test (even had the chart posted) that showed 203 at the wheels for an autostick.

I'm disappointed to see 187 too. Are you using premium fuel?

Still, thanks for sharing. This makes me want to have one done, to see which number mine comes closer to.

I believe 89 octane gasoline is considered "mid-grade" and it would seem this would make a significant difference in the turbo engine's performance--91 (or higher) is recommended by D/C to achieve optimum performance. From the posts I have read from individuals who have used different grades of gasoline other than "premium" (91 or more octane) they all report inferior engine performance with the GT Turbo.

i don't drive the cruiser enough to be able to tell the difference. driving it today, it drove fine. i know if i put 89 in my civic it runs like poop (11:1 commpression). my wife made a mistake when putting in the gas. normally we always use 93.

i know, glad we have knock sensors. or at least i belive we do. my wife was in a hurry, and was just use to putting that in her 2002 cruiser. she normally runs 93.
