aftermarquet wga question

if i install an aftermaquet wga i just want to know if i ave to reset the ecu every 300km

Why would you? I have an AGP wga and I don't reset the ecu every so many miles.

Yeah why would have to reset the ECU ???? I have a AGP WGA and a turbo xs MBC and havent touched the computer in 20,000 miles

Can a WGA be used in place of Stage 1? Or do you guys just use that on top of stage 1 to get a little extra boost?

You can't use it in place of Stage 1 because you'll get an overboost code and a check engine light, plus your ecu will pull and retard the timing and you'll lose horsepower. We use it to raise boost after stage 1 for and added kick in the pants. [8)]

Techincally you can. You would need to clamp the MAP sensor to the voltage that matches, say 10.5psi, and do the EDTIP mod. But beware! Don't attempt this unless you have a wideband Air-Fuel Ratio gauge installed because if you go high in boost you will be leaning out the mixture and can burn holes in your pistons if the mixture is to lean! [:0][:0] Still not worth the risk. Install Stage 1 first.
