I have a 2003 PT Turbo and just installed a ZEX 55 HP Wet kit. The kit also comes with the 75HP shot nozzle. Has anyone run a 75HP shot nitrous on the Turbo engine with no other modifications? Am worried about too much HP for the tranny. Have read that it will only withsand about 300 HP, which is what I am at about now.

What tranny do you have? If it's an auto some people are reporting failures even running stock. There is one individual on another site that is running a 100 HP shot with a 5 spd manual. He indicates some clutch slippage at his power levels.
I think increased torque will do more damage than HP. Nitrous increases torque big time. The auto tranny will definetly fail before the HD getrag 5-spd. No matter which tranny you have your probably "on the edge" with a 75 HP shot especially combined with other power mods. Just my $.02, Deen

Thanks for the info. It's the auto tranny. I guess to be safe (or safer), I will stay with the 55HP shot for now. The car jumps so much off the line as it is, any more HP and it is getting scarry.

i tink our trans can hold no more than 280 hp with s1 and s2 waste gate im border line with a mbc
