Default Boost Control/Gauge Install

This may be a rather repetitive thing on this board, but I was hoping that someone could take all of the compiled knowledge that we have gained and write a quick faq/install guide here on how to install a boost gauge and a controller. I'd like a list of the best parts to get (what gauge would work best etc) where to tap in for everything, how to adjust etc etc etc. PLEASE and thank you.

That would be a good thing if someone could take the time to do it.

I have installed both on my PT. I will attempt to put together a list of the parts and where they were purchased. I will also attempt to list how I installed these and the procedure that I used to adjust the boost as wll as where the settings are. I have also posted the Blitz Turbo timer installation on this forum. In the next couple of days I will pull all of this information together and put it in one place. Jody, I'd like your Ideas on the best way to post this information when it is complete. Thanks !

Gear_Head - If you could do that it would be great. All the ideas I've read over theses weeks are great but putting all this knowledge into a single set of instructions is something that many of use "not so machanical" PT'ers would love to have. -- Thanks

Here are a few threads that have lots of valuable info.

I spent about $550 installed for the gauges, pillar pod and dual stage boost controller.
I installed all myself except the EGT probe...For $25 a speed shop jacked the car up and drilled into the exhaust manifold - I have no jack or ramps (and my mechanic was too busy this week).
Hope this helps..
