Sorry for not responding sooner - busy the last few days...
Higear - BC is not mounted, just kind of hanging there - the line from the #2 solenoid is grouped together with the others with some rubber gasket.
This gasket kind of keeps it in place. I should use that included bracket to mount...but havent yet.
About the plastic piece on the secondary - I thought it was a fixed piece, but noticed that it turns a couple days after my install.
Doesnt seem to affect the performance. Actuall helps the BC to fit where it is...they are kinda tall with the second stage!

Everything it working great after about 3-4 weeks now. Dont really use the second stage too much as of late.
Mostly when getting on the Parkway!.......Im dying to go to the track!
First Stage set all the way DOWN tight (clockwise).
Turbo STILL spools way quicker.
Second Stage (ive backed off a bit) now peaking at 15 down to steady 12-13.
I was previously peaking at about 17 down to steady 13-14, but I want to play it safe(er) without an AFR gauge.
Let me know how you're doing!

The next step would be to tighten up the wastegate using the E.D. mod the SRT guys have done - helps to hold the boost steady.
AGPTurbo also make a kit for this purpose.
Ill probably try it next week sometime.

Hey Ian - havent been to the track yet (or ever!) Dying to go!
BTW - thanks for all your R&D, wouldnt have done my mods without it!! Very helpful and informative.
I read about the switch technique previous to getting the dual stage, and others have already proved that you are correct.
On the highway, you can really feel the increase in boost if you switch while passing.
Will get back to you with some times!!

Installed the dual stage boost controller bracket (supplied with the kit)onto the controllers in a vertical position. Then turned the whole assy to the horizontal position with the 2nd stage controller on the bottom, and the adjustments pointed toward the front of the cruiser. Removed the 10mm nut on the vac controller for the cruise control. Placed the last bracket hole on the stud and replaced and tightened the nut. This mounts the controllers in the horizontal position. Called TurboXs and asked if it hurt performance to install them in the horizontal position and they said they didn't think so. Ran with the controllers upright, and then horizontal and I couldn't feel any difference or see any difference on the boost gauge or in the EGT gauge. This position made it easy to "pretty up" the setup. I'll try to borrow a digital camera and see if I can post some pics.

Please post!! Sounds like Ill mount mine the same way. Did you cut to get extra length from the #2 vac line? Not much play without cutting the rubber piece that groups it with the others. Oh and where did you mount the switch?
Thanks Gear!

I ended up fitting my dual controller in pretty nicely on sunday. if you bend the mounting bracket about 45 degrees it fits by bolting it on the solenoid bracket. Actually i had to flip the first solenoid upside down to clear the mounting screws. I mounted the switch in the same empty switch plate on the center console but switched the positions of my traction button and rear wiper switches so i can lay down some rubber at the touch of the button. Ill post pics tomorrow morning of my new pod and switches. I also just put on a Momo Race air shift knob on and it is awesome. For those still with the stock shifter know on their 5-speed, i highly recommend the race air. The knob is a little larger for easier shifts and the leather gives you a much better grip.
