Ok, I've read how the Smoothie II's (if purchased "off the rack")won't fit the GT. However I also noticed that they can be custom ordered in a 18x8 with up to a 44mm offset. Would this fit? [:I]

Did it not fit b/c of the fronts? I had to buy 1/4 inch spacers for my 18s to keep them from hitting the brakes
Would that cure your woes?
