Those loook good! I too, am debating the purchase of upsized tires for my GT. I have winter driving conditions to consider, so do I purchase all-season tires or summer tires? Reading about the issues with smaller rims not fitting over the GT brakes (thinking snow wheels), I'll probably go with an all-season performance tire in a 215/50 size. Any recomendations on such a tire? [:I]
My 97 Avenger came with the the same goodyear Eagle RSA tires as the PT. Living in New England I know about winter driving and the RSA is one of the best All Season tires I have driven with in the snow and slush.

If you are looking for another tire go with a summer tread and keep the RSA's for the winter.

No snow or ice at all. Only summer-like conditions.

Cal, the percentage of change would be the same no matter what. Its based on overall tire dimensions. Ordered my Avs 100 215/50-17's... should have them Wednesday.

Installed my AVS 100's today. LOVE them. Handles quite a bit tighter and they look better on the rim than stock. I think I'm going to look into the rear swaybar now, tighten it up a bit.

I always use this calculator on the Dakota Mailing list web site:

http://www.dakota-truck.net/TIRECALC/tirecalc.html

You can input the gear ratio, or simply compare the original tire to the new tire, etc.
