For beginners, thanks for all your responses, especially the part numbers Jody. Kirby? What type of sway bars are you using? The OEM type? Aftermarket? I was looking into the Eibach sway kit, which is the front and rear sways (25 MM & 22 MM). Truckperfomance.com sells it for $300. I'm not sure if they can be found for less; or if there are better ones on the market? Or just as good? Or is this simply too much thought on simple sways?!!

Anyways, thanks for the information ppl! and the website! I just bought my GT (it's Onyx Green) on 4/30 and I'm loving it completely, with the exception of the ride in corners, turns, etc. I purchased the Eibach Pro-Kit (not installed still) and now I'm looking for sways. In addition, at 1000 miles I switched over to Mobil 1 Synthetic and the 209 Oil Filter (something I would've never known about without this website!) BTW - I owned a 2001 Limited Edition Silver ...

the above link is for 25front/19rear for around $190, I think. Make sure you put in the club code for that price (PTCruiserLinks.com) to get the sale price. Don't know how they compare to the Eibachs.

On the kit from Wyckoff, that is a good price. Remember, that kit was designed to beef up existing swar bars on the previous models. The kit "Includes bushings, but uses existing end links". You would need to order links and hardware (possibly more) before you could install the rear sway bar.

Does anyone know the parts number for the missing two nuts for the rear sway bar kit? Is the part number: 06502696 NUT, Hex Flange Lock, M 10x1.5 ?

Just go to Home Depot or Lowes instead. Much cheaper and easier than buying 2 nuts from DC.

It really was a PITA to install, but as others have stated it was well worth the effort. BTW if you're going to use an aftermarket bar don't make the same bonehead mistake as me in ordering the bushings. I simply took the list Jody posted to the dealer and said give me everything except the bar. Can't remember how much they were but it could save you a couple bucks.

Aloha,
Mark

Just for future reference for those who are searching this subject: the OEM front and rear anti-sway bars are the same for both the N/A and Turbo PT's.
