On my 2001 Limited, I had the Goldline Slammers, which is a 2.75" F / 3.25" R drop. I also used Tokicos, the ride was very stiff. With a lowered suspension, the best bet is to just avoid the potholes, or you will get jarred not matter what. It could be that you are hitting the bump - stops too, but I don't know how that feels, as I trimmed mine so I would never hit them, or rarely at best. If you are hitting the bump stops, it will feel just about like you are hitting the frame. Matt

One man's "firm ride" is another man's "getting hammered". There really isn't much of a way around this if you lower the car, unless you drop $1300 or so on a set of Mopar Stage 2 coilovers. Even then the ride will be stiffer than stock.

The point is, when a car is lowered, there is less room for the shocks, struts and springs to "work" so they need to have more lbs/inch otherwise you'll bottom out the car on every little bump. There is no such thing as a car that is lowered, that will ride like factory. Even with the coil-overs, like you said. I have coil-overs on my 944, and believe me, that ride is nothing like factory.
