Default Tokico's magic

I posted awhile back a question about upgrading shocks. I settled on the Tokicos and just installed a few days ago. Man, I can't believe the difference these make. No more bounce in the rear, smoother ride, and no vibration in the steering wheel. I wish I would have done this much sooner.

I got them for $264 delivered. Autozone provided the free spring compressor rental.

I agree with your shock selection cause it is the same as mine. I got mine on eBay and it was arond $250 shipped for all four.

I got mine off ebay for about 239 free shipping. I got them to go with my 3" drop progressive springs so can't actually state the improvement in ride in handling solely on the shocks. Feels alot tighter, I like the added feel of control.

I bought my Tokicos from ebay as well. I have Eibach springs, and the ride was jolting on occaision. I added the Tokicos later on and that helped improve the ride considerably.

Are these the Illumina Tokikos- adjustable shocks/struts that you speak of? I have tokikos that I purchased for about the same as everyone else and i get hammered on the bumps! I need an upgraded set that will better handle the bumps. Suggestions?

Are you running the factory springs still or are you lowered? If lowered, what springs are you using?

I am using Tokiko HP and Eibach. Maybe there is something else wrong or I get a bad set?!

I'm due for new shocks as well for my 03 GT with 60K mileage. I see no problem for the rear shock replacement but for the fronts I understand that I will need a spring compressor. The actual replacement should just be to compress the spring, unbolt the old strut, bolt in the new one and release the spring. Will I need to get an alignment done for the car at the completion of the swap?
