Default brakes

Hi i have a 2002 p.t. and lately my brake alarm has been sounding.
i've checked the fluid level its fine i only have 30000 miles on it and they are mostley freeway miles.
any help on this would be appricated.

Light/chime come on when you accelerate?
Most likely place to start is by looking at the pads - look at all 4 front pads - one may have hung up and was dragging.

Check your brake fluid level, there is a good chance that it is low.
