Default Replacing Rear Watts Link Bushings

Has anyone done this on their PT GT? I need to replace the bushings on mine and I'm going with the Energy Suspension ones.

Can a home mechanic do this themselves?

Thanks in advance for the help

Talking Re: Replacing Rear Watts Link Bushings

I had a go at that this weekend. not too bad actually, I too used energy bushings. I replaced the watts link at the same time because I was getting a "clunking" from the rear. I took about 5 hours wheels up to wheels down. The hard part is getting the old bushing out. I drilled the centre out then burned the rest. We then needed to remove the shell which we heated u with a blow lamp and hit it with a blunt chisel while held in a vice. Very easy to put back, just use plenty of the greasesupplied (not petroleum based grease), just eases it in better, Hope this helps,

Good luck
