Default Need instructions for rear sway-bar install

Just got my rear-sway bar "kit" from a Chrysler Dealer and found they do not include instructions for mounting the rear sway bar. Does anyone have the install instructions and torque specs they could send me? I shure could use the help...
My Fax is (541) 416-8889 or my E-mail is hyracer@hotmail.com

Thanks in advance Guys/Gals

Thanks Jody and Michael, I have enough info now to do the job. Also after threatening to go to the owner of the dealership they finally sent me an E-mail describing how to do the install! Thanks again everyone! Deen

Well, I finally got it installed and took it out for a test drive:
My advice is save your money and invest in an aftermarket front and rear sway bar upgrade.
I hate to admit it but I "feel" the handling stayed very close to the same with or without the rear bar on the GT. My next move will be to save my $$$ over the next few months and invest in a set of lowering springs to see if I can eliminate the leaning feature we get when we try to neogiate a tight turn at speed in these "tall" Cruisers.

Hy,

As I mentioend in the other forum you may only be out the cost of the rear bar as I think you need the connecting HW for an aftermarket rear bar from Chrysler anyway. Of course, as you know, you should replace front and rear bars to match.

Good question whether lowering or aftermarket sways (I knwo - or both) are "best". I do not want to lower so I'll try the aftermarket sway bars first.

PeTe,
I didn't go the lowering route first because of the snow we have in Central Oregon. I'm currently re-thinking that as I don't plan on driving the Cruiser on "snow-days" at least for the first winter or two.
What we need is a full-blown shoot-out on aftermarket bars and springs from one of the car mags. An article that tests step by step showing MPH through the cones, cornering forces, understeaer/oversteer, etc. Also within the same article showing the results of different caster/camber settings, toe-in/out settings, etc. to maximise the drivability of our Cruisers.
As an example I have a catologe from a Corvette vendor that shows all the suspension tuning settings for different years of Corvettes (my 2nd car) in 4 different modes:
1. Daily Driver
2. Advanced Street
3. Autocross Baseline
4. Track Baseline
You choose how you want to drive your car, then you set the specs and change the equipment detailed in the article accordingly.
