They weren't available when I bought my Pro's a month ago. Did the factory rear sway at the same time. As noted by many others, it really looks cool and handles MUCH better, though a bit firmer than my wife would like. I get a bit of 'lift off' when hitting bigger freeway bumps at speed (80ish). I'm thinking the aftermarket shocks would help this, but I'm reluctent to make the ride firmer still. She used to hold her chest when riding in my old '69 Bronco w/ double shocks. One more thing for her to bitch about I don't need.
![]() Two weeks after getting my GT, I had to do an emergency evasive maneuver to get around a truck retread flung into the fast lane. The way the back end swung around convinced me that rear sway bar was NOT an option - it was a matter of survival. Do it! tezz

A rear sway actually stiffens up the rear and makes it a bit mre prone to oversteer - balances the front stiffness and helps to get rid of the "sanitized for your protection" understeer
