Angry Turbo Brake System Question

I've had the most unfun (is that a word) month with my PT, from A/C going out, rack and pinion replacement, serpintine belt going and front brake replacement again since 1 year ago.

Here is my question:
I have an 05 Limited Turbo. My car has 2 disc in front and drum in the rear. I bought rotors for Turbo and today the mechanic at Chrysler told me that my Turbo has NON turbo brake system, mine has the same system as a base model. He said he has no idea why Chrysler did this to PTs but he sees it on Turbos 1 in 20 times.

Does anyone else have this? And should I bother investigating if I got shafted from the start when I bought my car based on the fact that the brake system should have been the turbo version??

I think the Chrysler guy might be a little off here. The PT Cruiser GT version comes with 4 wheel disc standard (it used to anyway). The Limited edition you have has the standard brakes for the limited. If you ordered the car, you might have been able to add the 4 wheel disc as an option.

Thanks. So my front disc, rear drum is the correct system for my car.
I freaked out thinking something else went wrong with my car from the get go.

I custom ordered my 2005 Limited Turbo in May 2005. I had to specify the 4-wheel disc brakes, an $825 option. I would assume that most customers ordering the Turbo would also specify the 4-wheel disc brakes.

Chrysler reduced 2005 prices by making extra cost options out of some items that had been standard equipment in earlier years.

I bought mine off the lot and unfortunately at the time I did not know enough to make sure I got 4 disc. Oh well.
