I'm getting tired of finding out the many things put into the SRT-4 that were ignored in the GT, so here is my wish list for a real GT.

THE REAL GT
Engine Option:Advancesd boost controls - 250 HP+ 270 Torque
DUAL EXHAUST!
Transmission Option:
Getrag 5 Speed (HD Transmission) or B&M Hydro Beefed Autostick
Either with Limited Slip Differential
(and equal length axles that won't break)
Suspension Option:
Eibach Springs & Sway Bars (F&R), Koni Adjustables
Tread Options:
18 X 8 (Real Wheels, not rollerskates)
235 X 40 Michelin Pilots (Real Tires)
Brakes:
Willwood Crossdrilled Balanced Set (all 4)
Seating Option:
Seats with Side Blosters (Recaro makes a nice one)
Guage Package:
Oil Pressure, Boost, Exhaust Temp

It's not that the old package was trash, but I hate throwing so much of the car in the dump to put Adequate gear in the car![:X]

Nice dream outa bump the price to around $30 grand easy ! It'd be a nice cruiser that's for sure!

Makes you wonder how they did it in the SRT-4. My guess is that the LSD option will be available for @400 dollars, Transmission (do it yourself, HP - Stage I with BC and Dual Exhaust, Suspension $700 shox warehouse,Wheel & tire - $1200 any tire store(not Pilots though), Guages (now$300), Brakes $1200, Seats $1000. about $7K with a lot of throw away new parts!

You could be exactly right, build it with enough handling and power...get some press... the dealers see an open season for markup.

SRT-5 could stand for that extra $5K markup.
