Default Strut Tower Brace and the Turbo

I've looked and I've looked and all I can see as a difference between the Turbo and the regular PT are the Turbo controls mounted on the top of the passenger side strut tower.

Is the only thing holding back the release of a brace the relocation of these vacuum controls?[:I]

This is True. I have seen Flashback2s Brace. He modified the bracket himself and wire tied it to the strut brace from his old (non Turbo) PT. He had to remove the solenoid bracket and cut it in half because it also holds the cruise control mechanism as well. He then had to trim the half holding the turbo solenoids until it fit when wire tied to the strut brace. The brace fit properly when the solenoid bracket was "Modified: [8D]
