Default Raising Front of Vehicle

I want to raise the front of my 03 GT ATX about one inch or so. I know I could put wedges in the spring coils, but that will amplify bumps and otherwise cause the ride to suffer. Does anyone know if there are coil springs from other PT or SRT Chrysler vehicles that would raise the ride height? Possibly from a convertible model?

I have not seen any springs to raise the front of a PT, even the adjustable Mopar Stage 2 coil overs I have will only go from stock height to 40mm lower, not higher than stock, the convertible does weigh about 300 lbs more than the sedan, but I don't think that the 100+ pounds difference in the front springs would make a full inch difference.

The springs on the SRT4s will fit, but they are a lot lighter, so they will not help either.

Why do you want to raise the front, instead of lowering the rear, this is the first time I have ever heard of anyone wanting to raise the front, as it is already very high to start with.

I want to raise the front to keep from scraping more parking lot bumpers and steep driveway entrys. The distance from the garage floor to the lower lip of the front fender is 26.5 inches measured through the wheel axis. I'm going to replace the struts with Tokico Blues so it would be a good time to replace the springs. I know that Chrysler has charts that show spring rate, free length and ride height. Sure would be nice if someone here had that info.

Well like you said before, you could block them. If you put the blocks at one end or the other of the spring (on top of or underneath), the ride will not suffer because the spring will act the same as they did before.

If you lower the rear, it does raise the front up a little - My headlights went up a bit when I did rear springs.
