I just put a set on my 03 GT auto. There is more harshness than with the previous Michelin Pilot Sports AS at 38 psi. Dry traction is better. A little noisier. I changed to the F1 all season in hopes of getting better snow traction. We shall see.

I've had three PTs and they all came stock with Goodyear tires. I couldn't wait to switch to different brand tires on all three. IMHO Goodyear tires are overpriced garbage. I'll never buy even one tire, EVER.

Currently have Yokohamas, but I preferred my Kumhos...those suckers ride nice and smooth and really grip!

The Yokos are aite...they're a little rough tho'. I got em for the 60,000 mi warranty...

On my 2004 GT I just replaced the Goodyear F1 all seasons. They were fine when new, but I had the corrosion and air leak problems, so inadvertantly ran them low, they never looked low... The tires cupped and started to howl. It sounded like a 4WD truck. I chose to go to new alloys and changed sizes and tires. I did not need the performance issues.

Like I said the Goodyear F1's were great until I ran them low and they cupped. So watch your tire pressure religiously. They take 38 pounds and do ride a bit harsher than the OEM Goodyears.

I am getting a set put on Saturday on my '04 PT Dream Cruiser. It's starting to snow so we will see how they perform.

Even though the stock Goodyears are crappy tires, I have heard great reviews on the Eagle F1 tires. In fact their isn't much better for performance without going to a very expensive Michelin or a Pzero. They are pretty costly though. I don't know how the F1 AS compares to the regular F1s though.
