what you can do to protect them is by some caliper paint and paint them, that should keep them from rusting in the future. as for rear brakes do the same HP+

these brakes have a break in process and it involves hard to moderate repeated stops read the directions and follow them, you just cant put them on and use them, even if you went with a lower HPS you still have to break them in.

and get new rotors while your at it.

if you dont like stopping hard, the sound of brake squeel, and/or brake dust then dont buy them, they are an autocross/track pad. these pads work.
once broken in, do they need a "warmin up" before being good?

its a big debate with myself, if i want quiet or super power....i leaning towards power....after all, its a samll price to pay for safety, dont you think?

once broken in no real need for warm up

after you get in the car first few peddle pushes feel like stock, after that when there warm then it'll stop hard.

my wife hates the squeek and squeel they make and the looks people give her, but she love the stopping power and made a compromise to keep them and they've helped us avoid a few accidents.

they also help big when we both autocross

Our shop has had a lot of success with AXXIS ceramic pads. The mother company is Australian. These pads are low dusting, quiet, and relatively easy on the rotors. They are a little pricey, but worth it. They do increase braking power over the OEM pads.
Conversely, we have had problems with metallic pads. They are rough on the rotors, and do not work well when they are cold.

they were on the stock rotors im sure if you had aftermarket they might work better but if your going to keep the stockers they i'd use something else.

i used them on our local road course and my braking points kept moving further back with each lap showing they werent consistant. the hawk pads have always been consistant and no problems.

I don't remember the inquirer saying anything about racing. From a normal-driving standpoint, the Satisfied Ceramic are better than stock. If you're going to be doing laps, Satisfied GranSport are better suited for Street/Track use.

all i want, is a higher performance brake combo of stock dimension , that wont be too loud, because i can live with a lil bit of swqueak.... But they have to perform without the need of being heated, since theyre used on the streets.....
