Started shopping for my own Christmas present. I want rear sway bar. So I get on here and start shopping and reading. After market kind of out of the budget, so I figure I'll call my dealer and see how much the factory one is, (better than nothing). Parts man there is the best I have ever seen. He runs the VIN. and says hey that under warranty, come in I'll get it ordered and we will put it on. I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop. I will keep you all posted. I am not calling this a free one until I leave there with out paying a bill. Stay tuned.
Same thing happened to me. Parts guy orderd the parts. Service dept called to say bring it in for the install ASAP. By the time I got there 30 mins later they had the TSB in hand and would not do the install[xx(]

The roundtable at the Block Party was a joke, all they wanted to really hear was people kissing Chryslers ass. I asked about the Rear Strut bar removal and gave me the usual it's integrated into the axel, blah blah BS.

I had the dealer install the factory rear sway bar, it took less than an hour. What a change in handling--this is really needed.

Xeno it is nice the dealer installed the factory rear sway bar, but the official line is that the external bar is dangerous and should not be installed on the GT!!! What a crock!!

I went to the roundtable too, Had to put 'our silly' name tag's in front of us while sitting there. Everybody had to introduce themselves and their vehicles and their modifications. It finally came around to me, I said , I'm a proud owner 'to be', but I've already got the stage 1 and Mopar BOV installed, and as SOON as they install the rear sway bar on my '03 I'll take it! It got very quiet after my introduction. The rear sway bar was not discussed any more. So after, I nailed down the suspension tech they had their, and told him the situation. My '03 GT is missing it's rear sway bar and will NOT take delivery untill it's installed. They have a considerable deposit, and the balance of 20k will be paid when it's installed. I've been having parts installed every week it's been sitting there, and now the last item BEFORE delivery/take home, is the fricken rear bar.

We (the suspension tech) talked/disputed this topic for OVER an hour, I couldn't stand anymore, but the guy kept his stupid robot like speach, It's integrated, and should of been deleted from the invoice (window sticker), and went on to say it will be unsafe to have it put on now. This fricken guy had been programed/brain washed to say the same thing over & over & over. I was kinda fumeing after all the BS, and he wouldn't stop. I finally said,'Look, I can't handle you or your ignorance anymore, either give me my deposit back and I'll buy an 04, or deduct the cost of the missing piece (including labor), or just INSTALL the part that's soposed to be their, as per the invoice', The guy wouldn't stop, we'll sir, th@&*&^$##&(& part is @$%*&()*$ I asked him to STOP speaking and walked away. The dealer ship in the San Fernando valley should have it on their by now, and if they do, I get my car, and they get their 20k in cash that I still owe before delivery, if not , the fight is still on, We'll see, Stew

Hey there Rice Killing GT, first of all, Nice ride, Mine is the same color and has the rear wing, navigation sys, Stage 1 & Mopar BOV, and sun roof w/ the autostick and cloth seats, I've yet to actually take delivery due to this stupid part not being their. But from several other people here on this forum, they said, the only thing I've got on my side, is that I haven't taken delivery yet. It's I guess my only leverage, as this part is holding up a 27k+ car sale. I'm tired of waiting, and WANT MY NEW 03 GT. I've been to the stealer several times reguarding this ONE issue for about 3 weeks now, Will keep you all informed, as it's been a few month's now and I'm ready to just go to another dealer and buy their, or and SRT4, but want the automatic, HELP HELP any advice would HELP............Stew
