my question about these is how will they handle on black ice? or from tar to ice at speed. will they help or hinder. i had lockers on my front of my jeep, worked great in snow as long as you wanted to go slow or straight.

Automatic is a B**** to install! I would say that if the autostick community would be shown to buy more parts (Stage I, sway bars and such) it would show a serious demand for this kind of product. Manufacturers arent going to make a whole new design for 10 people.

true I only know how to drive a 5 speed. I never learned to drive a automatic.

If someone were to check the differential case/part number on the 5 speed and the auto, if there the same case, then the LSD SHOULD work for the auto's too. But don't check for a differential assy, cause I'm sure the gear ratio's are different (final drive) and that would obviously be different. I run Detroit lockers front and rear on my Toyota, and it will climb just about anything, even with 2 wheels off the ground. But steering with a locker is tough, a limited slip is a bit easier, but for the FWD PT GT, the diffs should be very similiar..Between the auto's and 5 spd, Anyone.......

Have you installed the LSD on your car with an Autostick? If so have you submitted instructions for doing so to ptdiotyourself or any other site? To me, besides the large quantity of buyers simply not interested in doing true performance mods, the other disuasion from performing work on these cars is somply the fact that they are new and not a lot of do-it-yoursef guides are out there for stuff like this.
