Default Strut tower brace. PICS ANYONE???

Hello fellow GT owners:

Has anyone seen a REAL PICTURE of a strut tower brace mounted on a GT? Maybe I'm being a pain in the a$$ but I'm getting pretty tired of all the talk and still NO PICTURES.

COme on someone. SHOW ME A PIC.

DO I hear a second from anyone else????

GTSteve

The difference is that on the passengers side all of the control solenoids are mounted on a bracket that the Cruise control controller is on. In order to relocate the bracket currently, all of the parts mounted to that bracket must be removed and the bracket cut in half. Remount the cruise control controller, and shorten the half of the brackets that hold the 3 solenoids (for clearence when remounting). Then remount the solenoid bracket to the installed strut bar with tie wraps. Flashback2 has done this, and I saw it at Carslile. Looks good, but its a lot of work and you have to cut the pieces apart ro do it. I think I'll wait for a kit.[:I]

Sorry I don't have a camera. I used the regular Freedom Design Bar (much cheaper) and cut the bracket holding the solenoids & cruise control similar to the way Flashback did. I then used the cut off part of the bracket holding the solenoids and trimmed it down a bit more and mounted it on the AC line using two 5/8" rubber insulated clamps. Used a Dremel to cut and trim the bracket so that part took some time.

Aloha,
Mark
