Jody:

Are you sure that the #9 nut is the "missing" nut? I haven't been able to get a definitive answer to this question, and would love to know so I can get my bar installed.

Regards, ajcraig

ajcraig- no I'm not sure. I received that list from a dealer Parts Manager at Wyckoff Chrysler in New Jersey, Jeff.

tezz,

The Koni knob is only in place when you adjust the strut (the knob is not in place when you drive). My guess is the relocated solenoid packs would have to be moved to the side in order to adjust the Koni strut on the passenger side. It doesn't sound like a major ordeal.

Thanks Scott - I thought the knobs stayed in place all the time. Still trying to find the money for the Konis. New job starts next Monday (yay) - so I'll try to subvert funds.

PT Tuning just posted the installation instruction BTG Strut Bar. It is at the bottom page below the info and price! It looks easy to install!

You will need the 10 mm crush nuts as they are the only way to hold the bracket on. There is supposed to me two nuts welded inside the axle and they are NOT there. Cant get a wrench in with reg. nuts, so the need for the 10mm crush nut.

Received mine Thursday--installed it this weekend. It is a straightforward installation.

Too early to tell whether it improves handling, but the steering does feel less torquey under acceleration.

Definitely looks good with the chrome/blue amx intake system.[8D]
