Following is a reply dierctly from Suspension techniques to a request for sway bars (Front & Back) for the 2003 & up PT GT Cruiser Turbo.
Alan, We can get you those Suspension Techniques sway bars. Concerning the rear links and hardware you will have to get them from the dealer, I know you told me that your PT Cruiser didn't come with the rear stabilizer, but the Neon and the PT Cruiser share the same floor pan if I'm not mistaken. If I am mistaken about using the Neon parts, I believe that there was a rear stabilizer bar option for the 2000, 2001 or 2002 PT Cruiser, all of which should attach to your 2003 model. The Suspension Techniques stabilizer bars(sway bars) come in front, rear, or both. The part#s are as follows, the front is 50-006 it sells for $146.23, the rear is 51-006 it sells for $138.41, and the number for the pair is 52-006 they sell for $270.39. Thank you for your inquiry. I hope this is helpful! Please write back if you have other questions on these or any other products. When you're ready to order just visit our online ordering form at http://www.alamomotorsports.com/ or call us and we'll get your product on its way. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Here is the dealer parts that I ordered (Total cost of $ 88.26) You may want to order 2 more of the nuts (06502696-NUT,Hex Flange Lock M10x1.5 ). You'll need them to bolt the bar to the axle. --------------------------------------------------------------------- PT Cruiser GT Turbo Parts List: Rear Sway Bar Parts needed for Aftermarket Rear Sway Bar (Yr.2003) Part# Descripton QTY(ea.) 04656927AA---------RETAINER Sway Bar------------------------QTY-2 04656940AA---------RETAINER Sway Bar------------------------QTY-2 06504010-----------SCREW & WASHER Hex Head, M10x1.50x35-----QTY-2 04656934AB---------LINK Sway Eliminator---------------------QTY-2 06506496AA---------BOLT Lower Link to Sway Bar--------------QTY-2 06506509AA---------SCREW,Hex Head---------------------------QTY-2 06502696-----------NUT,Hex Flange Lock M10x1.5--------------QTY-4 I don't know if i ordered any extra parts or not. I ordered the eibach sway bar kit (Front & Rear). After installation I'll post for sure about which parts that are needed from the dealer.[:I] Alan |

Alan:
Thanks for the great post. This will really help all of us who are planning on installing a rear sway bar on our GTs. Until reading your post, I was planning on installing the OEM bar from Wychoff. They are selling the bar and all the connecting parts for around $165. I will be keeping an eye on this thread to see how your install goes. Please keep us all informed. Thanks again for taking the time to post for us. Steve 2003 GT
