What are the differences other than cost and adjustable ride height?
Are there advantages/disadvantages? |
|

|
depends...
koni's front and back will run you almost 500-. add for a set of eibach's say at about 150-200 for the set, gonna run you 600-800 bucks. coil overs vary in cost but probably at least that much or more. btg coil overs are 1099, but there are even some more expensive systems

but other than cost and adjustable ride height, why would you want to put coilovers on? is there a big difference in ride quality?

unlike springs, coil overs do not lower the car by reducing over spring height. Coil overs are a sleeve system allowing full range of motion of the spring in its natural setting rather than having an over compressed spring. I personally prefer springs over coils over just because the way i see it is that the less adjustable moving parts you have, the less can go wrong. Some coil overs tend to be bouncy also
