Oh by the way .... Alan thanks for the info, as I used it long ago when I had to install my rear. The dealership charged $93 for all parts, which is a little high from what I've read.

Occassionally, when driving slowly over uneven surfaces, I can hear the rear bar creak a little. I check the endlink bushings and the retainer bushings and all is tight. The front end is quiet. Underload while in turns and at speed, the bars are quiet. Is the normal?
If so, can I lube the bushings to keep them from creaking?
Thx

PTGT Redman, Urethene bushings are very firm, but do tend to squeak a little. I used some teflon grease on the retainer bushings. It took a little time to work all the way into the bushing, but the noise did eventually go away. I don't think its the end link bushings, it's probably the retainer bushings only. Took a little while to go away after lubricating.........

so that means I have to undo those retainer clamps again?
Is the teflon lub a sparay or grease? Do i have to remove the bar? The retainer bushings on mine are solid rings, not the slottd bushing that pop on and off.

Not necessary to remove the retainers. I'd avoid that at all cost. Did you lube the bushings before you slid them on the shaft, and then add a little more when they were in place before tightening them down ? Anwway, just lube them as best as you can the grease should work its way into the bushing. As difficult as it was to get the nuts on the retainers started and tight, it would have to scream like a banshee to force me to loosen or take the retainers off. I still have mine on the firm setting. Onedivinehammer pointed out that Eibach does not recommend that setting for use on wet roads. I will be trying the softer setting as soon as I get the time to reset the end link connections. Meantime I have a question in to a mechanic to see if there is any other possible solution to the noisy bushings. I'll post after I hear back.......

K. I'll work on it tonight and see if i can loosne them enough to get some more lube in there. I lubed them to get them on the bar, but some came off as i moved them down the bar into position.

Just a quick question though not for a Turbo. Would the parts list at the top work for a base model 03 Cruiser to which I am adding a rear sway bar to? In addition would the Eibach kit work with a non Eibach sway bar?....ie a Progress kit? I would prefer to go with a better quality mounting kit than the OEM.

Eibach rear install kit . . . most of the parts included would work on sway bars made by other manufacturers, EXCEPT:
the Eibach urethane bushings that fit in the 'U' brackets (that install on the rear axle) are sized specific for the diameter of the Eibach bar. If your other-manufacturer bar diameter is within a mm, I'm sure you can make it fit. But if the other-manufacturer bar is much smaller diameter, you will need a bushing with a smaller hole diameter.

Finished installation of my Eibach bars, using the Eibach rear kit. LOVE THE DIFFERENCE. Also, the Eibach rear kit includes clip-attached nuts for the infamous rear axle bolt. Makes install/tightening of that bolt very easy.
