We recently took the springs off his car and replaced them with airbags
I am not sure if they are sold yet...

This is what the slammers look like on my car

Does this candyman have springs for sale?
Ooooh my bad I thought you were the original poster. I was waiting for him to post pics, so when I saw your post, I thought it was him! Sorry about that.

Yeah, Slayer's right about Candyman's springs. Try PMing him about it, and you can even check out his photo gallery to get an idea how far down it went.

And just curious, how do those 19s feel so far??

Thanks for the info.

Slayer, are those the same springs on your ride that candyman has for sale?
Do you know how much of a drop it really is? I don't want to have to make stuff fit. I don't mind rolling fenders though.

808, It's no worries man. The wheels feel great but a little heavier than the original ones I had. The car feels more planted. They are 19's with 235/35/ZR19's. I can turn the wheel all the way in both directions, no rubbing. Also, if they were 40 series tires or 245 series...they would be rubbing the strut because they are uncomfortable close now.

No my springs are Gold Line Slammers F 2.75 R 3.25.

Candyman's custom springs had only 4 inch ground clearance on all 4 sides.

Ok, so to lower it so its level...you have to lower it a half inch more in the rear. I will probably do F 2.5 and R 3.0 to avoid rubbing and scrubbing problems. Thanks for the info!

Actually, the rear sits 2" higher. Candyman had 3"/5" dropped F/R

Talking Re: New wheels and tires

That was Slayer's picture Looks like the misconception was contagious

Well it looks very even in the picture because it's at a very good angle. Let me see if I can relocate you to some pictures of Candyman's PT. Candyman also had the Goldline Slammers in hope to level it. He showed some side shots of his PT and the rake was pretty noticeable!

Lightbulb Re: New wheels and tires

question about the rake

Candyman has now gone to air suspension recently
Well, now I gone and done it: For better or worse, no more springs!
