New wheels and tires
Just got a new wheel and tire set from Discount Tires online and just wanted to say was very impressed. Not only were they aware of the offset issues that other sites seem to ignore with their recommended fit wheels but when I talked to them over the phone they were able to set me up with a set of MOMO's that were on clerance which allowed me to get much nicer wheels and tires than I had bugeted for!!! Ended up getting a set of 17x7 momo's (which are WAY lighter than the stock chrome 17's) and a set of the Nitto Neo Gen's which I've been very impressed with. They have a little lower tread life as they are softer but help alot with handling (especially in the wet). I'll try to get some pics up in the next couple of days as they completely changed the look of my car compared to the stock 5 spoke ended up giving it a more european style. Long story short I would definatly recommend Discount Tire Direct was very impressed with their service and technical help line.

...I just bought wheels and tires today... you're kinda worrying me about the "offset issue" I bought wheels with +35 offset...are they gonna fit?

My rims come in Wednesday. I'll put them on...assuming they fit since Gold GT has got me worried about this offset issue... If they fit, I'll take some pictures and post 'em up!

K, got the wheels in, they fit! Dude had me worried! Next step is lowering. I photo shopped what I want it to look like when I lower it. Gimme some opinions.
   This next one is the (crappy) photo shopped lowering job.

Those are 17s?? Damn those almost look like 18s or 19s! I personally think they're sweet!
It's a pretty good photoshopped drop, too! That looks like a Candyman-type set of springs there, or a bagged look. It's definitely lower than Goldline Slammers.

Yeah...they are 19's. Gold GT is the one that ordered the 17's.
