Steve, dunno.
Haven't really put a lot of research into yet.
Know that I have to do it tho.

Eibach sells a rear-mounting kit for the PT '03. Unfortunately, I have yet to find it for sale. It's listed as a part on their website, but it takes a week to have it ordered through a reseller. So ....

Got my strut brace and put it on today in less than an hour (I had company - they slowed me down!). As previously noted, the instructions are clear and complete. The pieces are all very good quality. (Made in South Africa - go figure) The only two issues I have - the solenoids don't really snap in all that securely on the new bracket - I'm thinking of adding a tie wrap for piece of mind - and, second - the bar comes VERY well wrapped in close cell foam and tape. Be very careful when you cut it off as the bar is easily scratched if your knife goes too deep.
Off this topic, but I also bought a BTG shorty antenna at the same time. It looks cool with it's little bullet head. After installing my new toys, I went off to the car wash. When the car came out of the wash tunnel, the poor little antenna was bent to snot. Do yourselves a favor - take it off before your PT's bath. The aluminum shaft is just too soft to take any abuse. Reception is good though!

Tezz: Yes, everything you said is true. I was very careful when I cut the wrapping off. There was a small scratch on the bar after I was done (probably my fault). I used some Mothers chrome polish and the scratch disapeared. Yes, the solenoids con't fit real tight but mine haven't moved since I installed them.

No offense but I think car washes should be outlawed unless they are the "brushless" type. The autmatic washes ruin more cars than you can imagine. Anyway, I love to give my PT a bath. (see my post on drying).

It WAS the brushless type - I agree with you on that - the brush type is like taking sandpaper to your paint. I like to wash my own cars too - just wasn't time before we went out for the night.... : ( I'll try the Mothers on the bar. thanks

on the solenoids on the new bracket, I put a dab of glue on each nub and it has worked fine. I do agree, it was packed for war, and there just was not a postive snap on the solenoids. Udder than that is is a fine, and welcomed addition to the Crusier.

No whistling that I noticed, Punch - but the little bullet end is just in your line of sight and wags a bit at ... ahem... shall we say 'freeway speeds'? It's a little distracting.
