My antenna only hums, no one has taught it to whistle yet.

hey someone posted that the carwash would do wonders to the antenna, yep took my car by accident (already paid and was in line, by the time I relized)through a brush type carwash, it left my new chrome antenna slighly bent.

No offense guys but . . . start an antenna thread so everyone can learn from your experience. We can keep this thread focused on the strut tower brace.

This way, if someone has a question they can find the answer with a search or we can bump this thread up for them. Make sense? Thanks.

Can u paint the strut bar?
The finish on mine wasn't that great and there was some surface scratches. I was thinking about painting it but was sure if because of location and heat if it would be safe and would last.
Recommendations?

How could you paint something this pretty? If you have a scratch, try some metal polish. The brace is faily soft metal and the scratch will easily buff out. I know, I did it.

If you look in the back of the engine compartment, theres a heat shield, but it doesnt cover all of the factory paint. Id go with that.
