215/50-17 Less than 1 mph speedo difference(actual speed faster)
225/45-17 Virtually no difference
215/45-17 about 1 mphspeedo difference (actual speed slower)

That expensive Michelin Pilot may be the one they put on the SRT-4.

Play with tire size only if you feel comfortable, jus know that a lot of people have tried a wider tire without much trouble, one challenge would be chains and suspension clearance for the front.
Do you drive in much snow? Will you have an alternate set for winter?

Kirby,

The 2003 SRT-4 uses Michelin Pilot Sports. The 2004 SRT-4 uses BF Goodrich g-Force T/As.

Thanks! I know that I had read in the SRT-4 site, some people weren't impressed with the Pilots. The g-Force is THE tire on almost everyone's list. Both are quite a lot more expensive than the Yokos, or NeoGens.
