Default Painting Calipers - need some advice!!!

I have 4 jackstands and have read the jacking instruction in the owners manual. I need to know where to place the jackstands in the front and in the rear of the car for maximum saftey! Your help would be appreciated.

There is a decal on the inside lip of the passenger door that shows the jacking points.

I have read in the owners manual where the jacking points are, I need the ideal placement of 4 jackstands after I jack the car up and take all of the wheels off. I will be cleaning and painting the calipers and it will take 2 hours or so and then 24 for hours before I can move the car after painting the calipers???

I've jacked up a lot of different cars and this is one of the hardest I've ever done. The balance point of the car is really odd with most of the weight in the front. When I jacked up the front of the car to install the new springs, I found that the whole side of the car went up. I got real nervous trying to place the jackstands.

There is no way that I would try to jack the whole car up and remove all 4 tires at the same time. I would only do one end at a time. To paint your calipers, you can do one end, replace the wheels, and then do the other end.

This is just my experience but I'm sure others can agree that trying to place 4 jack stands under the car is very risky and unsafe.

I agree with GTSteve, when I did my suspension initially I was going to jack the car up all the way around and set it on four jackstands. After jacking up the front I decided to just do the front, then do the rear. For the front I placed the jackstands just behind the swaybar on a solid area, see photo:

Sorry no picture of the rear but I placed the jackstands on the frame on each side at the location where the tie down brackets where located. If you have a set of tall jackstands use them on the rear, I had to set mine at their highest limit, did not feel comfortable with it, wish I had some taller jackstand.
