Thank you Gear Head and all of the others that have gone before. I installed a set of bars today using all of the advice I had gotten from these links. The jamming of the wrench with the screw driver was especially helpful. I did that right away and it tightened right down. I did one thing differently. I epoxied the nuts to the rear axel a couple of days before I installed the bars. Started the bolts with one hand and tightened them to the point where the bond broke. Then used a wrench the rest of the way. Took about three hours with time out to mess with the exhaust system and search for a rattle while the car was up in the air. Thanks again.
