Default Aftermarket brake pads

I'm in the market for new brake pads and I want to get rid of the mushy pedal feel OE brake pads give us.

What should I buy?

I have EBC Greenstuff in my Neon and love them! They give awesome stopping power. However if you are trying to get rid of a mushy pedal I'd look to the brake lines, or fluid first.

Depending on how old your car is and how much you use your brakes, the idea of replacing the brake lines may or may not make sense. The stock rigid hoses on most cars are right up there with steel lines in terms of rigitiy under pressure.

Tire Rack has EBC greenstuff for the SRT. They'll drop right in to a PT GT.

Is that proven?

The normal Neon and n/a PT do not use the same pads.

The SRT got the PT Turbo brakes. Same on all four corners.

Yes the hard lines keep the same rigidity, but the rubber hoses will expand.
