I want to go with 225's but I'm not sure they fit ok.

225's are designed to fit 7"-8.5" wheels. The factory GT wheels are only 6" wide. With the speeds you drive I'd stick with what the tire Mfg.'s recommend...or buy a wider wheel.

Hey,
Merry Christmas to all! The ES 100 Yokos are a going concers (Many Porsches auto-X them) 215 50 fits well and no size problems, besides the Yoko gives you about .3" more tread than other brand tires of the same size. |

I put 205/50-17, I bought a set of Kumho Ventus Sport K104 for $65 each, they feel pretty good, I'll tell you later how they're behaving.
